Misono, the sacred territory
The tea plantation area of Misono is named for the fact that it used to be the sacred territory of the Ise Imperial Grand Shrine (Inner Shrine).
There are peaks and peaks floating on the misty sea that bubbles up from the valley, a beautiful forest of centuries-old cedar trees, and the murmuring of the Tenryu River that originates from Lake Suwa plays an unchanged tune from ancient times. Okumikawa Tea was born in such a village.
